18-Point Image Sensor Cleaning
The image sensor is one of the most critical parts of your DSLR to maintain optimal image quality, while the mirror and other optics must be clean to avoid autofocus errors. Canon’s DSLR Maintenance Service insures these critical components are spotless as well as confirming your camera is in peak operating condition.
A complete cleaning of the camera will be performed including the all important image sensor. Up to 18 individual inspections are made to insure that your camera is working as designed. Should our technician find something of concern you will be provided with the option to have it repaired (charges may apply) minimizing down time.

Services available on eligible Digital SLR camera and EF Lens models, for residents of Canada who purchased and use their models in Canada. List subject to change.
Actual repair times may vary. Seasonal volume or repairs requiring special parts may add additional time.
The services offered cover cleaning and maintenance of external components of the camera or lens, as well as the following internal components of the camera: image sensor, mirror, and focus screen. If, upon inspection, additional services are necessary which require the camera or lens body to be disassembled or parts to be replaced, this will be considered a repair and you will receive a repair estimate. In this case, any payment made previously for the Canon Maintenance Service will not be refunded. If you do not approve the repair estimate, repairs will not be made, your camera and/or lens will be returned to you and you will only incur charges for Canon Maintenance Service requested.
Removing internal dust or debris, autofocus adjustments and/or calibration of either the body or the lens are not covered under CMS. These services can be provided as a billable (chargeable) repair for each item.
